    Protection of Personal Information Consent

    I hereby expressly give Finding Personnel permission to collect and process any of my personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act (No. 4 of 2013) (“POPI”) as well as the Promotion of Access to Information Act (No. 2 of 2000) (“PAIA”) and the associated regulations and this can be done -

    1.1 for any legitimate purposes connected with my potential employment, including but not limited to maintaining personal contact details, complying with applicable legislation, occupational health and safety, security and access control, employment and other credit references, and the like;

    1.2 in order to comply with laws and other measures designed to protect or advance persons, or categories of persons, disadvantaged by unfair discrimination;

    1.3 in order to protect the Company’s legitimate interests;

    1.4 in order to perform obligations under law or contract, to protect my legitimate interests or to pursue the legitimate interests of the Company or of a third party to whom the information is supplied.

    2. For purposes of this clause, “processing” refers to the processing as defined in the POPI Act and includes but is not limited to collecting, receiving, recording, organising, collating, storing, updating, retrieving, altering, using, disseminating, distributing, merging, linking, blocking, degrading, erasing or destroying of any personal information.

    3. I similarly consent to the processing, analysing and assessment of my personal information by any third party, whether based in South Africa or in other jurisdictions.

    4. Any personal information will only be used by any such third parties in accordance with the instructions of Finding Personnel.

    5. I warrant that any and all personal information provided by me to Finding Personnel shall at all times be true and correct and that the provision of inaccurate and/or misleading personal information shall constitute a serious offense.

    6. The processing of personal information by Finding Personnel shall further be subject to any applicable policy regulating this in place at the Company and as amended from time to time in the sole discretion of the Company.

    7. Furthermore, I shall by virtue of my potential employment, have access to the personal, private, and confidential information of clients, customers, and other parties. I understand and accept that such information may only be processed in accordance with the provisions of POPI and PAIA read along with the Company’s specific policies and procedures.

    8. I warrant that I shall be responsible for ensuring a clear understanding of the policies pertaining to the protection of personal information and that a breach thereof will comprise a serious offense.

    I confirm that Finding Personnel may retain my personal information in their database for future matching on the understanding that my details may only be released to specific clients with my prior consent. If I do not wish Finding Personnel to retain my details at any stage, I will contact Finding Personnel directly (071 002 1561) so that they can delete my details from their database.*
